College enrollment is a life changing decision of a high schooler. But many are not fully aware of the complexity of the college admission process. The college admission clock starts ticking from the high school freshman year. Besides the choice of core courses taken throughout the high school years, cumulative GPA and community service hours, the college entrance exam results influence the admission decision.

All the Florida state universities and nearly all the other universities and colleges in the US require SAT® or ACT®, occasionally both the test results as part of the college application packageEnter your text here...

Both the ACT and the SAT tests contain reading, writing, science and math questions. The ACT verbal sections have the Reading Test, the English Test, and the Science Test. The reading and the English tests assess knowledge of English usage, grammar, and reading comprehension. The science test examines student’s subject matter proficiency.

Reading, Writing and Language sections of the SAT® consist of information & ideas, rhetoric, grammar, English usage and synthesis questions based on reading passages and quantitative information. Though not separately listed, SAT sections 1 & 2 contain several science related questions presented as reading passages.

The ACT® & SAT® math sections test your knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and basic statistics (data analyses and probability).

The ACT® & the SAT® essays are optional and administered separately.
